How to prepare for the return of CHE 2024?

The 2024 Check-point (CHE) season has arrived, running from October 24 to December 25, and covering over 24,000 employees on labor contracts with FSOFT in Vietnam. During this period, production employees need to update their JA (Job Assessment) information to reflect their new job rankings. BUL managers will review and recommend new benefits packages for employees.

The HR Policy and Benefits Department (HRPR) announced that CHE will begin earlier this year to allow employees more time to update job rankings and finalize labor contract addendums by the end of 2024.

Employees across roles—including DEVE, DEVE_FE, DEVE_MB, ODEV, TEST, SPMA, SPMA_EDT, FSQE, AIEN, AISC, DSEN, DASC, DEVO, CFMO, QSPO, ASEI, CSEI, SAPF, SAPT, SDSM, BANE, DSAN, SARE, ATES, MSCO, MSMO, MSTO, SHDO, DAPO, DAPR, DPRO, DPRR, DSTO, DSTR, MRDO, CADO, CADR, BPMA—must complete the declaration on the FHU 2 tool (LINK HERE).

Managers will review approvals through the designated link (LINK FOR APPROVAL).

Phase 1 (October 24 – November 26)

Employees will declare their JA, marking a vital first step that provides the basis for new job assessments and ranks for those seeking job changes or rank advancements. HRPR advises updating certificates and skills in the akaJob system before completing JA to ensure accurate, synchronized data.

Phase 2 (November 26 – December 18)

Managers (BUL) will approve JA submissions, assess performance, and propose new benefits. BUL managers have the authority to approve JA, ensuring automatic integration of new job ranks into the CHE tool.

Employees who do not meet minimum English proficiency (below 550 TOEIC) will not qualify for A+ and A ratings. This also applies to those who fail to complete or delay their DX-Academy courses on Udacity.

At the conclusion of CHE, HRPR will provide individual results by January 15, 2025, detailing previous performance ratings, upcoming plans, and new benefits effective January 1, 2025. Managers are encouraged to clearly outline the next period’s plan after discussing and aligning with employees.

The Check-point is a critical time for managers to review and evaluate employee performance, impacting opportunities for promotion, career growth, and salary increases. The CHE process also enables meaningful conversations between managers and employees, fostering a stronger work environment and ensuring long-term job stability.
