Moved and grateful to FSOFT’s globalization efforts for FPT!

That’s the sharing of FPT’s Vice Chairman Bui Quang Ngoc during the 2 Happy Tours to FSOFT Hue on the afternoon of August 15 and FSOFT Da Nang on the morning of August 16.

On August 15, the Happy Tour delegation led by FPT’s Vice Chairman of the BOD, Bui Quang Ngoc, along with high-level leaders such as FPT’s Chief Marketing & Communications Officer (CMO) Vo Dang Phat, FTEL’s Deputy General Director Chu Hung Thang, and FSOFT’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) Nguyen Tuan Minh, visited FSOFT’s Hue office in Hue City.

Witnessing the long lines of FSOFTers in Hue applauding from the elevator lobby of The Manor Crown Tower Hue building, Mr. Bui Quang Ngoc was briefly ‘stunned’ by the emotions. After being cared for by the FHue Board of Directors to change into traditional four-panel garments and a headscarf, despite expressing a somewhat reluctant response like ‘you’re being too elaborate’, the co-founder of FPT still reluctantly changed clothes and later became more intrigued by the Happy Tour atmosphere in Hue.

A solo bamboo flute performance by a former FU Danang student and a choir singing the song “FPT Dòng sông lời thế” (FPT River of Words) afterward added more emotional depth to the leader known as “Anh Ba” of FPT. The former CEO of FPT, moved, praised FSOFT Hue for singing the song “FPT Dòng sông lời thế” so well even though it’s still very young (only 8 months old).

Mr. Ngoc began his speech by reminding FSOFTers in Hue that the entire FSOFT had been given priority by Composer Truong Quy Hai when composing a series of songs specifically for FSOFT, such as “Đêm Onsite” (Onsite Night), and urged them to familiarize themselves with these compositions by the composer. Returning to the 35-year FPT journey, starting from FPT’s Vision, Mr. Ngoc recounted to the youngest FSOFTers in the Group the 35-year historical journey. He praised the difficulties that FPT faced on its software export journey, followed by the global journey of FSOFT, which he commended.

“I am deeply moved and grateful to FSOFT for their efforts in FPT’s global journey. Witnessing FPT’s growth in Japan, Asia, and Europe during the recent Happy Tour trips, I suddenly realized how truly strong FPT has become!”, emotional Vice Chairman of FPT shared with nearly 60 FSOFTers in Hue.

After personally handing out the FPT 35-year badges to his employees, Mr. Bui Quang Ngoc spent time interacting and answering questions about FPT’s strategy, culture, and life. Among these, the keyword “Hạnh phúc” (Happiness) and the strategy of achieving one million employees by 2035 (DC5-135) were of particular interest to FSOFT Software Hue employees, as they wanted to understand more about them.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Khanh (JES.JAC) asked, “What is the meaning of creating happiness, and how does it affect us personally?” Hitting the right spot, ‘Cụ Phó Chủ tịch’ (meaning “Grandfather Vice Chairman”) confided in the depth of meaning behind the term ‘happiness’ and ultimately affirmed, “Happiness for each worker is a good income, a good working environment, and especially the growth of the unit they work for.”

Subsequently, FSOFT’s CHRO Nguyen Tuan Minh and FHue’s Director Trinh Minh Viet both confirmed that despite being newly established, FSOFT Hue now has a modern and well-equipped office that meets the needs of around 200 employees. The goal for 2026 is for the branch to reach 1,000 employees, providing not only jobs for people in Hue but also attracting experts and technology engineers from across Central Vietnam to work and live in Hue.

Vice Chairman of FPT, Bui Quang Ngoc, along with FPT’s leadership and all FSOFTers in Hue, shouted the slogan “FSOFT $1 billion, FSOFT Hue 1 thousand (people)” three times. This Happy Tour in Hue left a deep impression with stories of FPT’s early days. This happy journey also celebrated FPT’s 35th anniversary with F staff in Hue.

On the morning of August 16, the Happy Tour continued to the livable city of Da Nang. With a large group (nearly 6,500 people), 150 FSOFT employees crowded the hall to welcome Vice Chairman of FPT Bui Quang Ngoc. The Happy Tour delegation arrived at F-Complex, led by Group Vice Chairman, CMO Vo Dang Phat, and FSOFT’s CHRO Nguyen Tuan Minh, along with FPT’s HR Director Chu Quang Huy.

In front of a sea of people at the Blue Ocean Hall in F-Complex, ‘Anh Ba’ of FPT seemed to gain renewed energy and delivered a speech lasting about an hour. The stories he told were not only about FPT and FSOFT in their early years in Vietnam but also extended to foreign countries, circling the globe, affirming FPT’s correct direction as a group that not only packaged and sold IT equipment but also exported software along with Vietnamese intelligence across the four seas.

Concluding the journey at F-Complex, Vice Chairman Bui Quang Ngoc, along with representatives from FPT’s leadership, FSOFT’s leadership in Da Nang, and nearly 150 employees, all chanted the slogan: “FSOFT 1 billion ($), FSOFT Da Nang 25 thousand (people), and FPT Happiness!”

Happy Tour is an activity within the Happy Days program celebrating FPT’s 35th birthday. It travels to foreign markets and domestic branches and subsidiaries. In addition to the Happy Tour, other activities of Happy Days, including the exhibition “Ngày tháng tuyệt vời” (Wonderful Days), Happy Hour (online and offline gaming), and Happy Moment, will also be carried out simultaneously in all branches. This spreads the image of FPT “happiness” throughout all employees, inspiring the next generation to create more happiness. Happy Tour has visited dozens of FPT offices in Japan, Europe, Asia, and Vietnam. In Central Vietnam, the Happy Tour is scheduled to visit FSOFT Quy Nhon on August 28th.
