“New Look” for three mountain schools in Cao Bằng

Continuing the “Connecting Love” charity series in the northern mountainous provinces, the FSOFT charity team brought love to three schools in Bình Nguyên district, Cao Bằng – where 99% of the population are ethnic minorities and all belong to particularly difficult areas.

On December 7th, the FSOFT team, along with the FPT For the Community Fund, coordinated with the Hanoi and Thái Nguyên Traditional Medicine Associations to organize a charity program at three schools: Tam Kim Primary and Secondary School, Hoa Thám Primary School, and Tĩnh Túc Town Primary School.

Although the schools have been built spaciously, most of them still lack facilities and teaching equipment. To support these schools in overcoming difficulties and to encourage the children to confidently attend school, the FSOFT team donated 45 computers, six 55-inch TVs, three projectors, three portable speakers, 20 backpacks, along with 700 sets of school supplies, cakes, milk, candy, and many clothes with a total value of up to 300 million VND.

Triệu Quốc Chiến, a 4A student at Tam Kim Primary and Secondary School, was excited to receive the gifts. “The computers and school supplies will help us study better. I promise to study hard and strive to excel so as not to disappoint the uncles and aunts who have cared for and helped us,” Chiến expressed.

Accompanying the FSOFT team on the charity journey, Cao Quỳnh Tâm – Head of DCE, shared the hope of helping the children have better learning conditions, love learning more, and confidently step forward to school. “These gifts are not just material things, but love, care, and hope that we want to send to the children. We hope that these supports will give them more motivation to overcome difficulties and continue studying, reaching for a brighter future,” Tâm said.

In addition to the exchange and gift-giving activities, the FSOFT team and the teachers and students at the schools also participated in a running activity in green shirts, named Happy Giga Run. In 2024, the FSOFT team has left charitable footprints across Vietnam, lighting up the spirit of solidarity and mutual support of FPT people.
