Onsiter in the US joins the Community Charity Run in Texas
Recently, the family of Mr. Nguyen Huu Trong, a member of FAM ST5 – FPT Americas currently onsite in Dallas, Texas, participated in a 5K charity run (equivalent to 5 kilometers) to raise funds for education and nature research in Denton County, Texas.
The event, organized by a small local non-profit organization in Mr. Trong’s neighborhood, attracted approximately 150 participants. To maximize contributions to the community fund, the organizers deliberately minimized logistical expenses, foregoing typical services such as water stations, traffic guidance, and professional volunteer support. Instead, runners were expected to follow the pre-announced route independently, adhering to safety guidelines while creating an orderly, meaningful race atmosphere rooted in community spirit.

Mr. Trong played a multifaceted role that extended beyond being just a participant. Before the event, he actively promoted the race and encouraged local community members to join. During the run, he served as a pacer, setting a consistent pace to support fellow runners throughout the course. After the race, he continued to support the organizing team by helping with logistics, photography, and post-event communications.
The active participation of an FPT Americas employee in such a meaningful community initiative reflects the strong sense of responsibility, connection, and positive contribution that FPTers bring to the global communities in which they live and work. More than just a sporting experience, the event showcased the spirit of sharing and the values FPT strives to spread, wherever its people are present.
