“Open Door” at FGC
FGC.POA – a newly established unit, is an “open door” at FGC that gives FGCers the opportunity to reach out to the big sea and take on various positions in FSOFT with a solid foundation. FGC.POA was officially launched yesterday, July 13, at F-Ville 2.
Before the job position change of FGC members was mostly spontaneous. Each FGCer had to equip himself with knowledge and skills to switch ranks. Now, FGC.POA (Project Operation Assistance) will help FGCers access opportunities for personal and professional development.
Taking the first steps from the end of 1999, after 22 years with FSOFT, the Comtor team has not stopped expanding its scale and become a crucial part of project operation. More than 300 employees of FGC have been following in all the markets where FSOFT is present. Notably, the Korean Comtor team (FGC.DN.KN) was established in 2021 and the MTL Multilingual department has grown tremendously in terms of personnel size.
During those 22 years, hundreds of Comtor moved to different positions in FSOFT such as AM, PM Assistant, BrSE, BA, and Tester. With strengths in languages and experience in working with many different clients, the Comtor team can fully participate in delivery activities, bringing more value to the project.
“By establishing a new department – FGC.POA, FGC wishes to contribute more values to FSOFT. This is also the expectation from the Board of Directors of the company. In addition, FGC.POA will also be a place to nurture, train and orient Comtor students who want to commit and challenge themselves in new roles,” said FGC Director Dang Khai Hoan.
Under the leadership of Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hanh, 18 members of, FGC.POA who have been undertaking tasks at the sites of Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh, Cau Giay and Hoa Lac, gathered as one team. It is expected that in October 2022, the number of members of POA will increase to 25 employees and double in December 2023. POA’s personnel development comes from actual needs of projects at FSOFT. With the experience gathered from hundreds of projects and clients, POA will train comtors who are willing to challenge themselves in new positions to meet the requirements of projects and clients.
Previously, in June 2022, FGC published the “Japanese IT in Software Industry” textbook. For the delivery team, the book is like a “treasure” of knowledge and experience drawn from software development projects with Japanese clients.
