As of December 1, 2025, FSOFT has officially embarked on a new chapter with the widespread launch of the myFPT Next application. This transition marks a gradual farewell to our familiar companion, myFPT, an application that has been closely associated with and supported FSOFTers for many years. In these final days of a truly memorable journey, let us take a moment to reflect on and appreciate the memories and invaluable contributions myFPT has brought to every FSOFTer.
More than just an application, myFPT became an indispensable part of daily life and countless memorable events at FPT Software. Who can forget the excitement of “Shaking for Lucky Money” during the four Tet seasons, or the vibrant atmosphere at every FPT Anniversary event on September 13th? myFPT was there, connecting tens of thousands of FSOFTers and becoming an integral part of those moments. Furthermore, during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic, myFPT transformed into an invaluable assistant, working tirelessly to support employees with everything from check-ins, vaccination updates, and office access verification to F0 tracing, adapting swiftly to the evolving pandemic situation and government requirements. By 2024, myFPT continued to deliver a seamless “Choose Tet Gifts” experience, enabling FSOFTers to send meaningful wishes and presents to colleagues with just a few simple taps.
Ensuring these smooth experiences required immense dedication and meticulousness from the myFPT development and operations team. For company-wide events like the September 13th anniversary or “Shaking for Lucky Money,” “pre-launch feature checks” were always paramount. Even a minor glitch, when tens of thousands of users accessed the system concurrently, could immediately impact the event. Therefore, the team conducted multiple rounds of testing, simulated high-load scenarios, and even worked overtime or overnight shifts to promptly adjust features according to last-minute requirements.
At its peak, myFPT saw nearly 25,000 FSOFTers participate in “Shaking for Lucky Money” and close to 20,000 app accesses during the September 13th event – impressive figures that underscore user trust and engagement. Confronted with system overload challenges, the project team learned many invaluable lessons the hard way, optimizing performance through careful testing and segmenting user access into reasonable time-based batches to alleviate immediate strain. For live interactive events, the team was always stationed on-site to provide support and adjust configurations as real-time situations demanded. And after all the rigorous technical processes, the entire team still had a unique “secret ingredient”: a touch of superstition, often gathering to pray to their ancestors for smooth events without unexpected glitches!
Evidently, the myFPT team’s dedication extended beyond merely technical assurance. It was evident from the very first touchpoints of each feature, stemming from thorough analysis of business processes, handling procedures, and even users’ natural habits and reflexes. As a result, myFPT’s features consistently felt intuitive, user-friendly, and closely aligned with the actual needs of FSOFTers.
Throughout its journey, the project team maintained a “listen to improve” philosophy, continuously gathering feedback and implementing rapid enhancements. Beyond its core functions, myFPT was also highly “trend-savvy,” generating excitement and fostering daily interaction. From the FPT Dating feature to entertaining score prediction games during Euro and World Cup seasons, myFPT evolved into a space for entertainment and connection, not just a platform for business operations.
Now, myFPT Next will inherit and build upon the positive “habits” established by its predecessor, while simultaneously upgrading the user experience with a modern interface and smoother operations. This represents a strategic leap forward, realizing the “One FPT” vision – a unified digital space where all FPTers can connect, work, and grow.
FSOFTers can still share commendations and awards on social media platforms with a single tap, thanks to a beautiful new certificate design package that makes every praise more formal and impactful. Daily utilities like eBus check-ins continue to be optimized, supporting QR code scanning for event check-ins or express delivery services, ensuring all internal activities are more seamless.
Claiming FPT Care for oneself and family members, or the routine of viewing Payslips on the 19th of each month, has also been streamlined to the bare minimum, allowing FSOFTers to complete these tasks in mere seconds. Users can also register for Hola Park’s premium services, such as Shine Your Hair, Spinal Impact, and VIP Kitchen, directly within the app, or easily manage business trips with TravelMate. Significantly, myFPT Next further assists FSOFTers in managing their to-do list with My Task, helping them proactively track progress, set reminders, and handle daily assignments more scientifically and efficiently.
