The cultural life at Hola Park now has an “AI spice”

AI is no longer confined to laboratories or tech projects; it has now permeated deeply human activities such as culture and community. At Hola Park, Pham Van Luong—a member of DCE.YU—has his own unique way of seamlessly integrating technology into the daily rhythm of work.

Joining FSOFT in October 2024, Luong took on the role of Culture and Community Officer at Hola Park, responsible for organizing engagement activities and internal communications for the Hola community. In a job that demands emotion and creativity, he flexibly applies AI to every stage, not only saving time but also bringing a “fresh breeze” to events.

Though not a Developer or Tester, this Gen Z cultural practitioner at Hola Park is remarkably savvy in using AI both at work and in his personal life. The way Luong talks about his working days feels familiar yet inspiring—showing that working with AI can actually be quite fun.

“In the past, organizing an internal event meant handling everything: from MC scripts, invitations, to communication content. Now, it’s much lighter, because AI tools can support almost everything,” Luong shares. From ChatGPT suggesting concepts, Canva AI designing posters within minutes, to Fliki AI helping produce simple videos—these tools save him time and allow him to focus on the attendee experience. For example, the “Fishermen’s Gathering” program in May was produced almost entirely with AI by his team, from storyboards to teaser videos—faster, yet still distinctly FSOFT in style. Some videos on the DCE TikTok channel “Lam cong ang ten” also originated from AI-generated ideas, creating a unique and entertaining mark.

For Luong, AI isn’t just a “productivity weapon,” but also a part of smart working habits. He uses AI to schedule tasks, summarize meeting minutes, and suggest team-building ideas based on trending topics in the software house. “AI doesn’t replace creativity, but it gives me more time for real creativity,” Luong says.

AI is also present in smaller tasks, noticeably improving Luong’s daily experience on campus: booking meeting rooms, logging leave requests, looking up information, or ordering meals—all take just seconds. “Administrative tasks are super fast now; AI takes care of it all. It even reminds me when I forget to order lunch,” Luong shares. “Everything runs more smoothly, so people have more time to enjoy the green and modern space at Hola Park.”

For someone in culture like Luong, what he enjoys most is when AI makes work more fun. He once imagined having an “AI colleague” who talks in the FSOFT style—friendly, slightly sarcastic, and even able to compose a few funny STCo tunes. “If AI can spread culture in ways like that, what could be better?” Luong says enthusiastically.

In a place where technology and people together create a creative atmosphere, Pham Van Luong doesn’t see AI as a tool that replaces him, but as a “colleague with a sense of humor”—a friend who makes work smoother and moments of fun at Hola Park more complete.
