The “Health Ambassador” of FSOFT
In 2024, FPT Software obtained the ISO 45001 international certification for occupational health and safety across 12 offices in Vietnam, Germany, and France. In Vietnam, each campus is equipped with an in-house medical team and fully stocked essential medicines to meet the general healthcare needs of employees. In celebration of 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctor’s Day on February 27, Cucumber invites you to hear from Trần Thị Khánh Vân, a healthcare officer working at F-Complex campus.
Before joining FPT Software Đà Nẵng and working in the medical room, Trần Thị Khánh Vân spent nine years dedicated to the medical field, working in hospitals and clinics. Becoming a part of FSOFT introduced her to a different perspective on her profession, as she witnessed the company’s commitment to the physical and mental well-being of our employees.

Wearing her neatly pressed uniform, displaying gentle gestures, and always greeting others with a warm smile, Khánh Vân – known as the “Health Ambassador” of F-Complex – leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets. Passionate about the noble mission of healthcare, she chose to pursue a career in medical with the desire to help and improve people’s health.

Reflecting on her 9 years in the profession, Vân notes the differences between working in a hospital or clinic and working at FSOFT. “In hospitals, medical staffs often deal with emergency cases and focus primarily on treatment. At FSOFT, my work is more about prevention and promoting overall health among employees,”, she explains. “While the nature of the work differs, healthcare – no matter where it is practiced – requires expertise and dedication”.

Unlike most FSOFTers, her “team” is relatively small. Yet, she never feels alone. “Working at the medical room, I get to support all FSOFTers. Every time I receive a simple ‘thank you’, it brings me joy, knowing I’ve helped someone feel better. It makes my work truly meaningful. But, honestly, I still hope the medical office stays ‘quiet’,” she says with a smile.

Among the many health initiatives at FSOFT, annual health check-ups stand out as the most impactful for Vân. “With work often taking priority, these check-ups provide FSOFTers with the opportunity to monitor their health proactively and reduce potential risks. Prevention is always better than cure”, she emphasizes.
Despite differences in uniforms, workspaces, and professions, Vân believes that enthusiasm, dedication, and a passion for continuous learning are what unite her and her colleagues. Each day, in addition to her responsibilities, she actively researches medical knowledge from various sources and provides health consultations for employees on campus. “Only by continuously learning can I improve the way I care for my ‘family’ at FSOFT,” she shares.
“Everyone understands that good health is crucial for work efficiency. When employees are healthy, they have a clearer mind, work more productively, and experience a better quality of life,” Vân notes. In addition to meeting stringent occupational health and safety standards – covering food quality, drinking water safety, and medical supplies – FSOFT also promotes physical and mental well-being through campus activities such as football and yoga, helping employees maintain a blend between work and life.
Alongside workplace safety, FSOFT remains committed to ensuring occupational health and well-being. With rigorous processes for monitoring food quality, water standards, and workplace medical supplies- aligned with the ISO 45001:2018 standard – the company strives to create a safe and healthy work environment. These measures aim to enhance productivity while improving employee satisfaction and overall work experience.
On the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day, we extend our gratitude to the dedicated medical professionals at FPT Software and across hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout Vietnam. Standing alongside these devoted healthcare workers and ensuring the well-being of FSOFTers is a great source of pride for FSOFT.
