Welcome summer with the dynamic FAM Summer Sport event in Los Angeles
This past weekend, FAMers and their families in LA energized themselves through the team sports activities of the FAM Summer Sport event. It was an opportunity for members to enhance their physical health, strengthen team spirit, and recharge for the upcoming work week.
The event took place at Delthorne Park, Torrance, California—a large, green park with a half-mile walking trail, perfect for enjoying the fresh air. Known as the “City of Angels,” Los Angeles is not only famous for being home to the world’s largest film industry, Hollywood, but also for its unique and diverse park system, one of the most notable in the US.

The event kicked off with a relay race for both adults and children, where teams competed with enthusiasm and unity, demonstrating speed and coordination in groups of five. Each athlete in the thrilling race had to carry a baton, run a lap, and pass it to the next runner. A team could be disqualified if the baton was dropped during the exchange or if the exchange occurred outside the designated area.
Following the relay, participants continued with a tug-of-war game—an essential activity in any team-building event, showcasing the strength, energy, and team spirit of each member. Additionally, the organizers introduced a variety of challenging games that required agility and quick reflexes from all participants.
The event concluded with FAMers and their families gathering together to enjoy lunch, savor the fresh air, and chat about their achievements in this exciting sports event.
Let’s take a look back at memorable moments at the event!
