“Zero Leakage” – FHN UpSkills potential local talent in Nha Trang
In its efforts to tap into Tier-2 markets, FHN Nha Trang (FHN.HNT) has not only been recruiting personnel willing to relocate but has also taken the initiative to identify and nurture local talent through the “Zero Leakage” workshop series—initially designed for Testers, and soon to be expanded to Developers.
This past April, FHN.HNT successfully launched the “Zero Leakage” workshop series with six introductory sessions aimed at sharing ISTQB-standard testing knowledge with promising Tester interns. The program was led by Senior Tester Đinh Nhất Linh (LinhDN1), who brings over a decade of hands-on experience and deep expertise in international software testing standards.
As a pioneer in directly training the first cohort of Testers, the mentor shared enthusiastically:
“FHN.HNT’s new Tester cohort shows great potential. They are young, eager to learn, and actively engage in discussions. After six sessions, their productivity has noticeably improved, and several have received high evaluations from their team leaders.”
Through these workshops and the unit’s ongoing support, the first 13 interns—comprising 7 Testers and 6 Freshers—successfully passed their interviews and have officially become Freshers under the FSOFT Academy (FSA). They will continue to receive advanced training from FHN.HNT and gain practical experience through real project engagements.

It is noteworthy that these first local talents were all outstanding students from local universities, handpicked by Line Manager Cao Minh Đức (FHN.HNT), who personally attended multiple graduation thesis defenses.
“Developing a new Tier-2 location is no easy feat. While we continue to seek relocated personnel, we are deeply committed to building up a local talent pipeline with a long-term development roadmap,” shared Mr. Đức.
Following the success of the initial Tester cohort, FHN.HNT will soon continue the “Zero Leakage” series with new topics tailored for Developers, along with more advanced workshops in Automation Testing and Performance Testing for Testers. The leadership team firmly believes that investing in talented youth in Nha Trang is a strategic move to attract quality talent and pave the way for securing major client projects.
FHN Nha Trang (FHN.HNT) is the first FHN unit to “migrate” from Hanoi, officially established in September 2024. As a young, pioneering branch, FHN.HNT has already made significant strides, growing from just five members to nearly 40 within six months. Beyond scaling operations, FHN.HNT has set a clear direction toward building a high-quality workforce through a series of training initiatives aimed at strengthening internal capabilities.
