akaFocus, akaOCR and EMT are all initiatives coming from actual projects and they have helped solve many difficult issues facing delivery units as well as BAs.

akaFocus – an initiative from Do Ngoc Lam (QAI.COE), is a product to help managers have an overview of the unit’s productivity so the managers of units can easily manage work with teams remotely during work from home. akaFocus statistically analyzes data from multiple angles and factors affecting productivity. It helps make decisions to improve productivity and supports users with reminders of tasks and security breaches. It is also integrated with many other tools to help save resources. As of now, 2,369 users have installed the akaFocus in FSOFT.

akaOCR – an initiative of Nguyen Tien De (QAI.COE), is an OCR platform that allows reading and converting data from typed, handwritten or printed form into an appropriate electronic data format. Not only digitizing handwriting, akaOCR also supports businesses to use this data in AI and computer vision. This tool is a comprehensive solution, having features from data collection (from websites and APIs), data preprocessing (rotate, clarify, reduce image opacity) to post-data-processing. akaOCR also supports storing data after it is digitized, teaching AI models to learn or using them for different purposes.

The platform has made an important contribution to digital solutions in many fields such as automobile manufacturing, finance – banking, healthcare, construction, and BPO. OCR platform works on machine learning (ML) algorithms and AI frameworks. akaOCR can easily adapt to changing conditions due to core ML technology and AI application. The product allows upgrading during use and it works well on on-premise and Cloud environments. After the first 4 months of the year, akaOCR has sold 30,000 licenses to 02 major clients, SBI-Remit and Toppan-Navinect, and brought in a revenue of 100,000 services.

EMT – an initiative of Len Van Hau (FHN.FLT): By applying CI/CD, the project team has improved code quality and reduced deployment resources significantly. In the first phase, the project developed the Eco Migration Tool with the aim of helping migration project lines reduce the time and effort of the Dev – Test team in converting and updating the system, which is one of the difficulties that most migration projects are facing today.

Currently, EMT is supporting stages from source code assessment to code conversion for migration project line through features such as assessment base to analyze basic information of any source code, assessment VB6 and Cobol to make in-depth analysis for Cobol and VB6 source, reverse engineering to visually describe the project architecture, which currently supports two languages, Cobol and VN6, and the design tool to refactor the project and manage the source code migration tool. In addition to the above tasks, EMT also supports project teams to analyze business from source code or handle complex tasks such as screen flow and code conversion.
