Awarding for Top holders of the iKhien Award

On August 24, the iKhien organizer of FSOFT awarded authors and groups of authors with initiatives that won Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizes and initiatives applied at the FSOFT and corporate level. These initiatives contribute to FSOFT’s overall performance on the iKhien in 2022.

Winner of the 4th iKhien Gold Award is Mr. Nguyen Thanh Long (QAI.COE) with the initiative of AI facial recognition technology on products, helping to build a more optimal meal management system and reducing the amount of food by up to 34 per cent of leftovers every day. akaCam solution is created based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology and Data Analytics. After 6 months of implementation, 540,000 meals were provided to the right number of people per shift. In addition, the application of the system helps to secure resources, adjust and save costs, especially helping businesses reduce manual management tasks.

Along with that, the silver award iKhien No. 4 was Mr. Vu Dinh Tuan (FHM.PMO) with the initiative called “Tool to support manipulation to increase work productivity”. This is a tool to help process and support ODC project lines, helping to reduce errors and confusion when having Excel files, and saving time on editing and specific document or test project lines. Estimating the amount of time reduced from 30 minutes to 1-2 minutes/day to manipulate data will help the company save a huge amount of money every year.

The winner of the bronze medal No. 4 is Mr. Len Van Hau (FHN.FLT) with the initiative Eco Migration Tool (EMT). EMT was born with the mission to help the project operate and develop to the fullest extent, shortening manual time. EMT is considered to be the combination of the most innovative tools that FLT has ever developed. Projects using EMT still show outstanding efficiency and can save at least 40% of coding effort even when the migration pattern is not oriented.

The organizers also awarded the holder of silver award of iKhien No. 3 to Mr. Pham Ngoc Nam (GST.SMS) – the initiative of a dedicated tool for manipulating databases. This initiative is a powerful tool for manipulating and creating data for software development easier and faster. Some of the tool solutions can be mentioned such as allowing data manipulation in Excel for easier creation, automatic data generation with unlimited quantities, and data management in Excel according to each processing and test case. The actual results show that the tool helps to create data for 500LOC SQL in only 2 hours instead of 1 day as before, creating 100,000 records in just 1 minute, and recreating data for each process or test case only takes 5 seconds.
