EBS lunches first SAP training program for Korean trainees

In response to the significant growth in SAP projects, EBS is not only ramping up its recruitment campaigns but also enhancing its training programs with the aim of building an elite workforce. Currently, EBS and FKR have devised a training and recruitment plan to meet the demands of major future projects.

Recently, EBS, in collaboration with FKR, hosted the Kick-off SAP Training FKR event, attended by representatives from both FKR and EBS. Notable attendees included Tran Van Minh, Head of KShore at FKR; Le Xuan Nghia (Chris), in charge of S/4HANA Program development in Korea; Nguyen Thanh Trung, HR at EBS; Lam Nhat Yen Thanh, Trainer; Luu Thao Loan, Class Admin; and the participating trainees.

A unique aspect of this training program is that all trainees are Korean and will travel to Vietnam for the training. They will spend three months learning and working, with the first two months dedicated to language training and acclimating to the work environment in Vietnam. The remaining time will be spent participating in practical projects.

During the kick-off, Tran Van Minh expressed confidence that after three months of Senior SAP training, trainees will not only gain valuable experience and expertise but also memorable cultural experiences in Vietnam, particularly appreciating the admirable traits of FPT employees.

Le Xuan Nghia (Chris) highlighted the rapid development of SAP at FKR over the past two years. He remarked, “This event is evidence of our increasing programs to enhance workforce quality. It not only provides work experience but also offers a chance to experience Vietnamese culture. This will benefit trainees in the future, as they will maintain effective communication and collaboration with their Vietnamese colleagues and clients upon returning to Korea.” He added that while the journey ahead will be challenging, perseverance and effort will lead to success.

In addition to developing the Japanese market for SAP services, especially S/4HANA, EBS has been expanding into countries across Asia, Europe, and the Americas in recent years. Among these markets, Korea is identified as a key focus area.

Since entering this promising market, EBS has recognized a high demand for SAP personnel in Korea, with local consultants meeting only 40% to 60% of the demand. Consequently, many Korean companies seek expertise from foreign providers. Meanwhile, Vietnam, particularly FPT, aims to engage with Korean Chaebol conglomerates, underscoring the vast potential to be tapped in this fertile market.
