FPT India celebrates India’s Independence Day in a spirit of unity

Joining the nationwide celebration of India’s Independence Day (August 15), FPT India held a commemorative program last week with the enthusiastic participation of employees. The event took place in a vibrant setting filled with the colors of the national flag, spreading a spirit of unity and national pride.

Independence Day is one of the most significant occasions in India, marking the historic milestone of 1947 when the nation regained its sovereignty. On this day, from cities to villages, streets and homes are adorned with the colors of the national flag: saffron, white, and green. Citizens hoist flags, attend flag-hoisting ceremonies, savor traditional delicacies, and participate in cultural and sports activities, creating an atmosphere that is both solemn and celebratory.

At FPT India’s Hyderabad office, the workspace was decorated with flags, balloons, and symbolic tricolor motifs. Traditional sweets in the colors of the national flag, along with a series of team-building games, brought joy and excitement to employees. Despite the unfavorable weather, their enthusiasm turned the celebration into a memorable event, formal yet warm and welcoming.
