PM Contest 2025: Ready for the main race after an impressive kick-off
The two-week Warm Up phase has officially concluded with impressive numbers, reflecting the widespread engagement and strong learning spirit of the Project Manager community across FSOFT. The competitive energy has been ignited, laying a solid foundation for the upcoming official rounds.
This year’s Warm Up round attracted nearly 2,000 quiz entries, with 54% of participants scoring 5 out of 10 or higher, and 14 participants achieving a perfect score of 10/10. These results highlight the solid knowledge base and readiness of the PM community.
The competition also saw strong participation across regions, with 79 teams from Vietnam and South Korea and over 20 teams from Japan officially joining. In Vietnam, F1, FHN, and FHM emerged as leading units in terms of the number of registered teams, showcasing a widespread commitment to strengthening project management capabilities across FSOFT.

As one of the top units in terms of participation, FHN FSUL Le Thanh Nhan shared: “Learning by doing is the most effective way to develop skills. PM Contest offers our PMs a valuable opportunity to apply knowledge, combine it with hands-on experience, and explore innovative approaches using AI to improve project outcomes. I wish all teams success, joy, and meaningful connections throughout this journey.”
Following the Warm Up, PM Contest 2025 now heads into the first official round, which will take place at multiple locations worldwide. The competition will kick off in Hanoi (August 11–12), followed by Da Nang (August 13), Ho Chi Minh City (August 14–15), and Japan (August 16–17). These events will provide teams with the chance to demonstrate their skills, critical thinking, and teamwork in a high-pressure, real-world simulation environment.
What began as an internal playground has, over 10 seasons, evolved into a launchpad for nearly 1,000 teams and hundreds of global champions and runners-up, playing a key role in shaping a more professional and capable Project Manager community at FSOFT.
This 10th season marks a new milestone, as real-world case studies from FSOFT are featured in the challenges for the first time, increasing both relevance and applicability. The overarching theme, “AI – PRODUCTIVITY: Enhancing Efficiency,” presents both opportunities and challenges, forming a “living problem” that each team must solve in their way.
