PM Contest 2025: 26 Teams brimming with energy, ready for the face-off

PM Contest 2025 has wrapped up its first round and has officially named 26 outstanding teams advancing to Round 2. This is not only a stage to showcase the caliber of project managers but also a platform to spread creativity, teamwork, and breakthroughs powered by AI.

The FHN_AKT team, with the witty slogan “AI is talented too!”, brings a youthful and playful spirit. Team representative, Ms. Pham Thi Khuyen (FHN.GIS), shared that PM Contest has always been an excellent playground for project managers and team leads, and this year, marking the 10th anniversary, the team wanted to challenge themselves. Their goal is to learn, gain hands-on experience, and, if lucky, bring home a memorable milestone for 2025. The team even “recruited” AI as their “fourth member,” not only to support their work but also to keep their spirit lively and creative.

Meanwhile, GHC_B-Jobs has taken a more practical and professional approach by building a dedicated AI agent. Mr. Phan Nhat Anh (GHC.DHM) revealed that the tool helps the team clarify judges’ requirements, prepare structured responses, and even craft rebuttals for other teams. This allows them to dedicate more time to sharpening soft skills and presentations—areas where AI cannot yet replace humans. Their approach reflects discipline, strategic vision, and seriousness in applying technology to project management.

As for the Mua Lua (Fire Dance) Team, their name says it all, they bring a fiery spirit of passion. Team representative Ms. Tieu Hoang Hai Yen (F1.JDC) emphasized that the PM Contest is a chance for young professionals to learn, compete against strong teams, and gain real-world AI experience. With the slogan “Mua lua – Ignite the Challenge”, their goal is not only to rank among the best but also to inspire young project managers to take bold steps. Notably, the team has developed the “Mua Lua AI BOT”—a tool designed to spark and amplify creative ideas from each member, making their journey uniquely memorable.

Human Sentient, the only team from EBS to advance to Round 2, initially joined with the mindset of “fun first, learning second.” However, after making it through the qualifiers, the team quickly shifted into full battle mode. Mr. Pham Quang Bao (EBS.ERP) explained that their ultimate goal is to demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and creativity, proving that one doesn’t need to be a “seeded team” to make a mark, as long as they prepare thoroughly and work together effectively. During preparations, each member was assigned clear roles, united under the belief that “no one knows everything, but together the team knows enough of everything.” Human Sentient also leverages AI as a “fourth member,” using it to analyze case studies, simulate risks, and even prepare slides, helping save time and create a competitive edge.

The Face-off round of PM Contest 2025 will officially kick off in early September, where project managers must demonstrate strategic acumen, adaptability, and sharp management thinking. Yet beyond the race for the championship title, PM Contest is a journey of spreading innovation, creativity, and a passion for learning within the project management community at FSOFT.
